What is the TLC Lifetime Commitment^SM?

As a TLC Associate Center, Furlong Vision Correction is backed by one of the largest networks of affiliated LASIK surgeons in North America and one of the strongest commitments in the industry. Because TLC has confidence in its laser vision correction surgeons and in the stability of their patients' results over the long-term, they can stand behind your distance vision results for life. It's called the TLC Lifetime Commitment^SM, our assurance that if a re-treatment or enhancement is needed at any time in your life to maintain your distance vision results, you will receive it free of charge at any TLC center in North America.

As a patient at Furlong Vision Correction, you are automatically enrolled in this program at no additional cost to you. And while it's not guaranteed that patients will have perfect vision for life, now, no matter where you go, TLC and Furlong Vision Correction will work together to help you maintain your best possible distance vision.

Who is eligible for the TLC Lifetime Commitment^SM?

Most nearsighted, farsighted and astigmatic patients qualify for this program. You are eligible if you are generally in good health, have been treated at a TLC Center for myopia and/or astigmatism, and have a pre-operative prescription equal or less than the spherical equivalent of -10.00 diopters, and/or astigmatism no greater than -3.00 diopters. Hyperopic patients with a spherical equivalent of less than or equal to +3.00 diopters and/or astigmatism no greater than +2.00 diopters also qualify. Since over 90% of the population falls into this group, we expect our program to benefit almost every patient.

To maintain eligibility in the program, you need to return to your eye doctor annually for an eye exam.

What if I am not eligible for the TLC Lifetime Commitment^SM?

Patients who are not eligible for the TLC Lifetime Commitment receive enhancements at no charge if the enhancements are done within 12 months of the initial procedure and are medically advisable. After 12 months patients recieve a discounted fee and do not pay for a full price procedure.
